The journal Research on Engineering Structures and Materials (RESM) is pleased to announce a Special Focus Issue titled:
Reliability and Efficiency in Smart Internet of Energy
This issue addresses the emerging landscape of smart energy systems, where digital communication and intelligent infrastructure are reshaping how we generate, manage, and distribute clean energy.
As the transition toward renewable and decentralized energy sources accelerates, the Internet of Energy (IoE) is becoming essential in ensuring system-wide reliability, responsiveness, and resilience. This special issue seeks to highlight innovative technologies, methodologies, and frameworks aimed at improving the operational efficiency and reliability of IoE networks, especially in smart substations and distributed grids.
We welcome submissions of original research, review articles, and analytical studies focusing on:
-
Intelligent substation design and protection systems
-
Cybersecurity and blockchain solutions in IoE
-
Integration of electric vehicles and renewable sources
-
Real-time monitoring, testing, and fault detection tools
-
Challenges in large-scale IoE implementation and communication infrastructures
