This study offers a thorough examination of the mechanical characteristics shown by as-cast and hot-forged Al7075-TiC alloy composites. Optical micrographs are used to verify the different characteristics of these composites. The process of hot forging has been shown to improve the dispersion and orientation of TiC particles inside the matrix, hence preserving the structural integrity of the interface between the matrix and the reinforcement. The observed relationship between the augmentation of TiC reinforcement and the diminishment of the mean grain size is described to the mechanisms of nucleation and dynamic re-crystallization. It is worth mentioning that hot-forged composites routinely demonstrate refined microstructures, which in turn lead to enhanced mechanical characteristics. The process of stir casting followed by hot forging of Al7075-TiC composites has improved mechanical properties, indicating their potential appropriateness for high-performance applications.
