Nanotechnology in Applied Science
Nanotechnology is revolutionizing a wide array of scientific and technological domains, ranging from materials science and mechanical design to biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and environmental applications. This special issue aims to bring together high-quality original research and review articles that highlight the growing influence of nanotechnology in applied sciences.
Contributions may include—but are not limited to—topics such as:
- Nanotechnology in medical diagnosis and treatment
- Emerging applications in applied science and engineering
- Nanomaterials and carbon-based nanostructures
- Nanotechnology in veterinary medicine, forensics, and environmental systems
- Quantum-informed nanoscience and clay mineral applications
- Integration of AI, software engineering, and data science in nanotechnology research

Dr. Yuant Tiandho (Guest Editor) is a Lecturer at the Department of Physics, Universitas Bangka Belitung, Indonesia. His research focuses on computational materials science, sensors, and nanotechnology.
Prof. Nithesh Naik (Co-Editor) is with the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, India. His work spans biomedical engineering, AI/ML, and industrial design.
Prof. Osondu Everestus Oguike (Co-Editor) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria, specializes in mathematical modeling, AI, and computational science with an active research record and international collaborations.
