Editorial Board of our journal have decided to accept a new type of submission: data articles. The focus of these papers is only on data and how it is collected but not on its interpretation and drawn conclusions, which may be performed by following papers. In many branches of science abundant amounts of data is produced. In general, only a small, processed portion of this information is presented to audience in form of journal papers and conference proceedings. However, these information is valuable to many experts and it is better if these data are processed by higher number of experts with different perspectives. In order to support and encourage data production and preservation efforts, we started to accept data articles in our journal. Data papers will undergo the same peer review as regular papers.
Authors with systematically and clearly presented data sets are invited to submit a data paper to the Journal. The submission can be accompanying to a regular research paper that interprets the data and draws conclusions from it.
